Pricing for Immigration

Immigration fees

We aim to have a transparent fee structure for all our immigration matters, so that you can remain in control of funding. We offer a wide range of services and payment options to suit your needs. Once we have initially reviewed your matter you will be given an accurate quote which reflects the nature, complexity, and urgency of your matter.

Our fees are mainly calculated using an hourly rate, which is set according to our fee earners’ knowledge and experience. In some instances, we are able to agree a fixed fee with you so that your matter can be dealt with in the most cost effective manner. Our current hourly rates range from £150 to £373 plus VAT. (Depending on the fee earners grade and hourly rate). All figures in relation to hourly rates exclude VAT unless specifically stated.

The exact number of hours it will take depends on the circumstances in your case. Such as:

1. The amount of supporting evidence that we need to consider
2. Which language(s) you speak
3. Whether you are applying with other dependants

If you can provide sufficient evidence at our first meeting and clearly meet the applicable Immigration Rules, this is likely to help keep costs to a minimum.
Our quoted fees would include:

1. considering documents
2. attending on the client
3. taking their instructions and providing advice
4. preparing and submitting the application
5. advising the client on timelines and the outcome of their application

What services are included

The work will involve:

1. Discussing your circumstances in detail and confirming whether this is the most appropriate application for you to make and what other options may be available to you;
2. Giving you advice about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the criteria.
3. If you do not fulfil certain criteria, whether this can be overcome and how;
4. Considering the supporting evidence you have provided
5. Where necessary, helping you obtain further evidence (such as medical records and bank statements), including taking statements of any witnesses;
6. Preparing your application and submitting it on your behalf
7. Attendance at a Home Office interview: if the Home Office ask you to attend an interview, we will give you clear advice (and discuss the possibility of us attending with you) at the appropriate time.
8. giving you advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you need to take.

*the amount of hours depends on the number of documents, whether they need to be translated, whether anything is missing and how long it will take to obtain the missing documents whether you require representation at home office interview or submission of your application in person.

Disbursements:

The costs quoted here do not include disbursements, which may become necessary

Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as visa fees, etc. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.

1. Immigration Health Surcharge (HIS) is mandatory in most applications ( Unless your application is exempt from having to pay IHS)
2. Interpreters fees
3. Translation fees
4. Independent expert reports e.g. medical experts. These are not required in many cases: We will let you know as soon as possible if we consider an expert report to be necessary and their fee estimate.
5. If there is an interview and you would like us to attend, there will be additional costs and disbursements in respect of our mileage/travel expenses.
6. GP/ hospital fees to provide your medical records.
7. Home office fees to provide your records (if any)

The costs quoted here do not include:

1. Any Home Office fees for making the application. You will pay this to the Home Office directly as part of the application process.
2. Where the Home Office refuse your application, advice, and assistance in relation to any appeal, review or reconsideration.

How long will my application take?

We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. You may find it useful to read the Home Office’s current processing times.

We will normally be able to submit an application within 2 -3 weeks of you providing us with full instructions, information documents, fees and disbursements. We will let you know at the earliest opportunity if it is likely to take longer than this.
Please note the anticipated number of hours and fees are an estimate based on the facts above. All applications are likely to vary and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have further details about your specific case.

We have set out below more information on some of the mainstream applications that we undertake. The guide envisages us providing an office-based service and excludes in person attendance at Home Office premium appointments or interviews.
